Dr. Gordon Ko is a graduate of the University of Toronto medical school (8T2) and specialist in Physiatry (Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation).
Dr. Gordon Ko is Medical Director of the Interventional Physiatry clinics at the Canadian Centre for Integrative Medicine (Markham) and The Interventional Pain Specialists (Vaughan). He is current Clinical Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Toronto and a former Senior University Associate Professor
His expertise on integrating conventional medical with complementary emerging therapies (such as BTX-A for knee osteoarthritis and PRP for low back–sacroiliac joint pain) were featured on CTV national news. He is often in demand as a teacher/ speaker–having trained several hundred physicians and medical students with over 30 years of experience including EMG and Ultrasound guided injections with BTX-A for head/ neck pain (including migraine/ cervical dystonia), dextrose and PRP prolotherapy for back pain (sacroiliac joint dysfunction and joint pain (osteoarthritis), tendonitis with viscosupplementation.He is past-president (2017-18) and a current executive director for the Canadian Association of Orthopaedic Medicine (a non-profit organization teaching doctors on prolotherapy/ PRP regenerative medicine injections).
He was also co-founder and vice-president for the Canadian Society for Neurotoxins in Pain (teaching on BTX-A injections)..
